SCCT can custom fabricate UHD Carbon-Carbon Composites for customers using the customer’s own carbon-carbon composites as the starting material and applying SCCT’s proprietary FAST/SPS densification process.

Product Line 2:
Manufacturing SCCT’s own UHD CC Composites as complete products. This is especially valuable to customers that have no existing Carbon-Carbon Composite manufacturing and prefer SCCT to act as a full-service supplier of the UHDCC material.
SCCT APPROACH
SCCT’s goal is to make existing carbon-carbon composites perform better and save money in the long run. SCCT’s carbon-carbon may cost a little more but result in enormous overall systems savings that can far offset the incremental additional cost of the material. A perfect example of that is in useful lifetime.
For carbon-carbon brake discs used in commercial aviation, a huge metric that all airlines care about is “time on wing.” That translates directly into massive operational savings. If UHDCC costs 20 percent more but triples service life, it’s a bargain.
